In this presentation, Microsoft EPM Technical Specialist, Doug Welsby will unveil the core capabilities and features of the upcoming 2010 release.  An overview will be provided of the capabilities in Microsoft Project 2010 desktop and server.  The session will cover the key investment areas of unified project & portfolio management, simple and intuitive user experience, enhanced collaboration and reporting, and scalable and connected platform. There will be an emphasis on the end-to-end capabilities of the 2010 Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution.

Speaker           Doug Welsby, Senior EPM Technical Specialist, Microsoft Corporation.

Doug Welsby is a Principal Technology Solutions Professional working in the Microsoft Canada Enterprise and Partner Group, focused on Enterprise Project Management (EPM).  He joined Microsoft in 2000, and worked in Microsoft Consulting Services for several years, deploying and architecting Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Project Server solutions.  He then transitioned into his current technical sales role, providing technical sales leadership to the Canadian EPM sales team.  Doug lives in Gatineau Quebec, and when not in front of a computer or customer, he can be found running, pedaling a bicycle or strapped to a snowboard.
